Christy is a close friend, and I recently, in trying to practice some of my photography, did a set of portraits of her, a lot of them candid shots. A lot of what I want to focus on is teaching myself to do candid portraits (as in non-posed). She was my first subject. Here soon I will be taking a black&white photo-journalism course, and will probably be scanning and posting a lot of my final prints from that class, but I generally do candid portrait, and photo shot, occasionally combining the 2.
